We have been given our 2 weeks notice to vacate the premises... Never mind the fact that the real estate has known now for months that the owners were planning to renovate and do the place up... Been trying to get the damn RE to co-operate and change the lease into our name for the last few months to no avail, trying to get ourselves approved but only getting the response "You should be fine there doesn't seem to be a problem with your application" But they never did the actual paperwork, why would they, when they knew they had no plans of renewing the lease anyways... Fuckers... Nasty, bullshitting, heartless fuckers... So obviously we are looking for a place to move... Found a beauty just 10 doors up from work, so that would rock if we can pull it...
Vodafone has debt collectors on my ass, to the tune of $912- which I don't intend to pay- Want the story...? Too bad, here it is...
I get hooked up on a $500 super cap with a lovely (ugly as sin but cool anyways) $900 Nokia 7610 on a plan... the deal is you get $500 worth of calls and services every month for only $80/month cool huh...? Indeed, on top of that I would be paying another $75/month for payments on the actual phone... However, I asked if the phone payment could be taken out of my $500 worth of calls per month instead, as I could not afford $155 a month on my wage, this would mean that I only recieve $425 worth of free calls/services per month... I was told that this could be arranged... Well, I get a bill for $155 and decide to call vodafone and inform them of their silly mistake, but they tell me the above deal that I was assured was fine was absolutely out of the question and I would simply have to pay for the phone... I called the dealer, to ask her why she would lie to me, and after much letting her know how unhappy I was about it all, she said it was a miscommunicaton and she would rectify it... Meanwhile, I get another bill for $313... She finally contacts me again and says that vodafone are being right cunts and that it is her companies responsibility... So she tells me that her company (Callcare Australia) will pick up the bill for my phone... That was 3 months ago... I have since been cut off, having to get a new prepaid sim instead, and the 'helpful' girl wont return my calls... Can anyone suggest an appropriate course of action to get the PDR (Prime Debt Recovery) off my back and Callcare Australia to do what they promised...? Any help on this matter will be much apreciated...

PS: How you been? It's my birthday on Tuesday, and I know it's a long way and short notice, but Wednesday night it's karaoke at Bracken Ridge (yeah, I know, it's bum-fuck-nowhere, but I'm visiting family). Just figured you're as much a karaoke fiend as I, you my wish to join us :)
